One of my favorite bands!!! I had seen the Theme From Slaying Beauty and Bikini Machines before, but not The Wedge.
They're so freakin' GOOD!
Thanks for posting Danny!

You late-comers should go buy Intensity and Dumb Loud Hollow Twang Deluxe. Check out Ivan's review of Dumb Loud Hollow Twang Deluxe. Their other releases are very good too, but those two stand out for me.

We'll have to agree to disagree Brian - Sonic bullets is the one that does it best for me.

Thanks Danny. The Bambi Molesters are simply my favorite modern group right now----period! Ferenc doesn't know it, but I will be eternally grateful to him for letting SG 101ers in on his group order awhile back. Springing for all three was one of the smartest things I ever did, because honestly even at gunpoint I couldn't say which one is the best---which is really extraordinary. I consider them all essential.
Ivan mentioned before the possibility of some new material? Let's hope!

Thanks! I hadn't listen to them for a while. I forgot how much I enjoyed there stuff. What ever happened to them? They played with REM in europe I thought they may come to the US with them someday but it never happened. Is there a thread on this already topic.

I'm not sure I should share this (I'm doing it without permission!), but the most recent news - as of last week - from the Bambis' camp is the following:
"We are rehearsing once per week and have 4 songs ready. Will record an EP sometime in March. Vinyl only. Thematic, more "spaghetti western" with horns and string. That is my goal."
I hope Dalibor won't mind me telling you all this... Don't tell anyone else!
Anyway, I think it's fair to expect more activity from the Bambis in the near future. One obstacle will be that three of the band members became first-time parents in the last year and a half....

Nice!!! Thanks for posting Danny. This video of Slaying Beauty looks way better than the other one I had on my favorites. It's a little more clearer. I love this band.

Damn... how I love the Bambi Molesters. Easily the coolest band in the history of surf.
Thanks for posting, Danny!

Totally agree, Danny! Of course they are all great, but Sonic Bullets is spectacular!

Oh they are simply amazing. And what's more it looks like this thread here is the only official fan club since their "forum" on their web page is a dead link I'm very very glad to hear from you the "leak" like what they are working on a new album.
Peace !
PS: it's thanks to them and google that I did discover SG101.

Welcome EspressoFrog,
check out our podcast #2 for a unreleased Bambi Molesters song that they wrote for a film soundtrack. Dalibor pops up on here from time to time, here's a thread Ivan Pongracic started about meeting him:
