Has anyone picked up the new Phantom Frank CD? I see Phil reviewed it on ReverbCentral. Is it even available in the US?

it's available thru franks own website, I think he sends it to the US as easy as in Europe.
it's very good. I did a review on the yahoo group months ago - or maybe I dreamed I did, can't find it in the archives (but i get tired of the search feature quick)
anway, go get it!
and get the phantom four cd while you're at it!

Yes, it's a live cd taken from a video of their first show ever. production is low but better than you'd expect, and the pying is awesome. but you could also wait just a while, if you're not going to buy everything, caus etheir first studio cd should be ready pretty soon.

don't hold your breath. the spankers have tried to do that a while ago, with not much luck. appearantly, the rights are owned by the record company, which is rather unwilling to either reissue themselves or give the rights back so the spankers can do it.
that's the last I heard of it, about a year ago. I'm very sceptic it will ever happen.

Because the Treble Spankers were on Polydor it's always been hard to get their material in the US. I think I ended up ordering from a UK CD source a number of years ago. I suppose that by extension a UK (or other European) used material source would be the best bet for things out of press. The Polydor problem was some distribution rights strangeness, maybe. I've forgotten the details. It may have made more sense back when music was distributed by strolling troubadours playing lutes.

Treble Spankers Hasheeda has been on ebay (Netherlands) for well over a year. I'm not sure if ever sells or if the stock is replaced.
