Radio Birdman wasn,t a Surf Band but his radios appear album is a particular Surfpunk Australian sound..
Parts of the songs are pure Venures..or pure Astronuts..
I know that Deniz Tek is a great guitar..
I know that he play in a Surf band ...but i don,t remember the name of the band....
Do you remember...
Radio Birdman...
Aloha Steve and Dano...like ..Pure Australian Surfpunk

I don't know if Tek played in a surf band or not, but there's definitely a surf influence in some of their other stuff - especially "Hand of Law" and "I-94." There's also a few live albums of questionable legitimacy floating around out there where they do a killer cover of the Trashmen's "King of the Surf."
