As you can see from the last posts in this thread, The Meltones "Surf, Spy, Space" came out December 2006. I listened to it quite a bit when it came out, including the time I spent dressing our Festivus tree. I pulled it out again last year while doing the lights (the most stressful part of the season). The funny thing is, this year I was genuinely craving "Surf, Spy, Space" as I pulled out the boxes of decorations. Yes, this album has become a holiday classic around here, right along with Phil Spector's and The Beach Boys' Christmas albums. Buy Speed of Dark @ Bandcamp |
