With the upcoming Dick Dale reissues on Sundazed, I thought it could be interesting to hear everyones favorite DD song excluding "Miserlou".
My choice: "Surf Beat"

"The Victor" (which, of course, spawned "Margaya", according to Randy Holden himself). As far as Dick's performance, every time I hear him playing "Hava Nagila" it blows me away.... Ivan —Ivan |

Much later down the road but Esperanta. Lots of dramatic expression. Not just one emotional tone. |

Grudge Run Just kidding, I honestly can't pick just one. It would be a four-way tie between the Wedge, the Victor, Banzai Washout and Taco Wagon. -Paul —Paul |

My favorite would definitely be 'Surf Beat'. 'The Victor' gets honorable mention. |

Can't pick just one. I can barely narrow it down to three--The Wedge, Flashing Eyes and Surf Beat. -Warren —That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it. |

My favorite is The Victor, but I consider The Wedge to be his best song in that it's just pure flawless surf: the melody, the tones, the meter, everything is exactly (what I think) top notch surf is supposed to be. |
