The Bomboras play New Year's eve on Dec. 31st at Spaceland, Los Angeles, CA.
1st show in 6 years...I'm there (if all goes according to plan).

Cool, I would probably be there too if it wasn't so far away...

BTW, we played a show at Spaceland many years ago:

Boy, the Bomboras...that'd be great to see.

Cool, way way Cool!

If we don't have a New Years Eve gig ourselves, we'll be there for sure!!

I'd be worried if my band was playing for the first time in 6 years.

Yeah, if I find out anything concrete, I'll post it.

We've got them beat - my band, The Toga Kings, just played the Double Crown On The Rocks fest on Saturday for the first time in 8 years! We only played four songs, including one original, and did it with only 6 hours of practice. Keeping with the theme of this thread, one of our last shows was opening for the Bomboras at the 3-B Tavern - the photo on our mySpace page is from that show (http://www.myspace.com/thetogakings)

Man, I'd love to see the Bomboras again - whatta band!

So how certain is this gig? Question

Given the somewhat volatile nature of this band, is this gig worth traveling to from out of state? I'm just worried about a last minute cancel or something.
