I wonder what the Atlantics would think of that wild Space Cossacks version? I suspect they would approve. |

Tim, I've had several exchanges with the Atlantics through the years. I talked over the phone to their bass player, Bosco Bosanac in early '99, I believe, for a pretty long time (that was an ugly phone bill, but totally worth it!). And I've exchanged emails with both Jim Skiathitis and their new guitarist Martin Cilla. They're all REALLY nice people, very down to earth. Both Jim and Bosco were very complimentary of the Cossacks versions of their old songs, though of course, maybe they were just being polite. But hey, it made my day either way! Ivan —Ivan |

they're still playing right? anyone seen them? I think Ive heard some of their reent stuff, the bombora version for the olympics a.o., didn't do it for me, but I bet it would rip to see them play now! but related, I saw a live dvd from the ventures yesterday at my drummer's, looked like late 70's early 80's - nokie and don wilson and mel taylor, differnet bassplayer. tongue in cheeck to themax, tele and cowboyhat for Nokie, but it was STILL great watching them play.
