This last pair being motivated of course by the the superb takes on this song by Los Twang! Marvels and 3 Balls of Fire.
At a show in Boston a few years ago, 3BF opened with Bali Hi School played at maybe 27x the volume of the previous bands. ...like a sonic plow-blade quickly clearing the place of the innocent clubgoers who had been enjoying cover versions of Talking Heads songs. The place was essentially emptied in 15 minutes. Crazy sound coming off 3BF that night.
