That's a cool album cover. Ordering this as soon as I finish this post.

I still have my Arrows "Apache '65" 45 rpm record that I bought 50 years ago. Funny thing, it was the first and only version of Apache that I was aware of at the time. I lived in Tennessee back then, our one and only AM radio station didn't feature a lot of surf-y instrumentals on their playlist. Just Pipeline, WDR '64 and Penetration. And Hawaii Five-0 a few years later.

FWIW, I much prefer Davie's supercharged version of Apache to The Shadows' and Jorgen Ingmann's renditions. Looking forward to his new album!

The Mariners (1964-68, 1996-2005)
The Hula Hounds (1996-current)
The X-Rays (1997-2004)
The Surge! (2004, 2011-2012)
Various non-surf bands that actually made money
(1978-1990)

For those interested.
The cd above is a career retrospective.
It has some old, some newer and some unreleased songs.

Mike Curb is supposed to be doing a cd release for Davie also.
Hopefully it will be available at the Convention also.
