it's that time again to start getting your group together to play in the members jam. please keep tunes in the 3 to 4 minute time period as we only have about 50 minutes to do this.

this is for everyone, even you guys who only play in your living room. you don't have to be in a band to participate.

www.surfintheeye.com

I'm available and volunteering on bass for ensembles.

Jonpaul wants to play guitar on a song in the jam. I told him I'd be his rhythm or play bass for him. He's in Europe now and can't sign up, so I'm signing up for him Smile

Thanks for starting the thread and keeping track of things Carol.

I'm wondering if show announcements is the best place for it.
Maybe it could be moved to surf musician or general discussion area?
Just a thought...

Jeff(bigtikidude)

eye would like to play guitar somewhere in the jam!

Moved…

Glad you're coming Dave, missed you last year.

Dave Arnson and I want to perform Shadow Land by the Falcons. We need a bass and drums.

Added: Dave and I will split the lead part, so we would like a rhythm guitarist too. Simple part, mostly chops on the down beat.

I'd love to play lead on one, something well known. I'll be happy to back anyone up on rhythm guitar if I can hear the tune first.

i'd like to share rhythm/lead with someone if they'll have me

Wow, hope there's video of that. That tune sounds like something right in your wheelhouse. Have a great time!

WOW! I have been waiting for this thread to get going for quite some time as this will be Beth and my first SG101 adventure. I have decided to bring my fretless bass ( I use this predominantly with DON'T FEAR THE REVERB. I am game to play in any event but I know I would like to play MOJAVE. but also up for shadows type tunes.

I'm up for it again this year as always.

I'll sign us up for Dark Eyes
Myself (lead guitar)
Bruce Brewington (rhythm)
Dave Becker (bass)
in need of a drummer

Have guitar, will travel. Let's pick a cool obscure surf tune. Who's in?

Be careful following the masses. Sometimes the "M" is silent...........................

Hey Billy, ME.... as long as it is challenging. How about a Laika and the Cosmonauts ...TAILSPIN or some thing in that ilk.
