I got the band copies just a bit ago!

Here are some previews:
https://soundcloud.com/ivan-pongracic-1/farthest-shore
https://soundcloud.com/ivan-pongracic-1/everybody-up
https://soundcloud.com/ivan-pongracic-1/burning-mirage
The CD will be first sold in person at our 10th anniversary show on June 14th at the Melody Inn in Indianapolis. Double Crown Records will start shipping copies immediately after.
Hope you all like it - we are extremely pleased with and proud of it, and think the whole team behind the CD did an amazing job - Tommy Schichtel (of the Concussions) recording and mixing, Stephen Blickenstaff doing the cover (and original poster) artwork, Ferenc Dobronyi designing the entire fantastic looking package, Stacy Fenner taking great photos that made even us look (almost) presentable, and Glenn Brown's final touch with his highly musical mastering. Truly talented people all, and we are fortunate and honored to have them work on this album.

Thanks very much, Ferenc! Your design really took the CD over the top! (It was Ferenc's suggestion to make it into a more-upscale, a bit more luxurious 6-panel digipak - and it was the perfect call!)

If Ferenc believes album art is almost as important as the recorded music within then +1 I agree. I gave up buying CDs in favour of downloadable MP3 format a few years ago (I have my reasons) but I have to admit the packaging sure does looking inviting. I think the artist has really captured The Madeira's force of nature vibe - it's an absolutely stunning cover. Sounds pretty wicked too

Thanks very much, crumble! Here's the full view of the packaging, inside and out. Cover art and the exploding planet art courtesy of Stephen Blickenstaff; photos courtesy of Stacy Fenner; the overall design by Ferenc.

Damn, that would have the perfect marketing line for this CD! Mind if we borrow it?

Awesome looking package, Ivan! Stephen Blickenstaff is one of my favorites. I make a point of owning a physical copy of everything I truly want, and I'm getting my copy at The Melody Inn! Really getting psyched for this...

Ah... I guess it was a tag line for one of the Terminator movies?

The originals are Farthest Shore (link to preview above) and Caravela, while the covers are Dick Dale's Night Rider, the Fender IV's Everybody Up! (link to preview above) and Los Relampagos' Macarena. Here's the full tracklisting for the CD:
- INTRODUCTION
- TRIBAL FURY
- EVERYBODY UP!
- SURF FIDELIS
- CITIES OF GOLD
- WITCH DOCTOR
- JUNGLE DRUMS
- BURNING MIRAGE
- MACARENA
- CARAVELA
- FARTHEST SHORE
- NIGHT RIDER
- MAR VISTA
- THE SARACEN
- TANGAROA
- WREAK HAVOC!
- UNDERCURRENTS
- RICOCHET
- SANDSTORM!
- INTRUDER

Played "Tangaroa" about 10 times in the car on the way to work today. Had the top down, sun was shining...it was zensville, man.
The band is ridiculously tight live. Glad to see Ferenc & Tommy were involved. This might be the kick in the ass I've been waiting for.

Well I've chimed in on the news item on the front page,
and the thread about the upcoming show. But I guess I haven't said it here.
I am really looking forward to getting this cd
I'm kinda bummed that the Madeira isn't on the SG101 line up,
but they were here a couple years back.
Ivan lets talk this Aug. About your return to the SG101 con.

It's a great record. It doesn't sound like a studio recording, it sounds like in your face blaring live amps, and everyone playing at maximum. What a tight band, I didn't hear a note out of place. Terrific!

Agree; can't miss that flippin' thru the CD wallet in the car.
Got a nice pre-order note from Double Crown in the inbox so it's snagged.
I LOVE a good tight live album best of all. Really looking forward to it.
Nice job all on the production of this.

Thanks again, all! Jeff, yes, definitely let's talk. Ferenc, it helped a LOT to have recorded two nights and been able to choose the best tracks from both! And thanks for preordering, Badger! Hope you like it!
