I will be performing the Ventures Christmas album in it's entirety (for the second year) multiple dates in December under the name Chad Shivers and Friends. We will be opening for Jeffrey Bützer and TT Mahoney performing their (4th) annual rendition of Vince Guaraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas. Jeffrey Bützer and the Bicycle Eaters (for which I also play guitar) will do a short set to open the show. Here are the details:
Dec. 16 and 17 at the Earl in East Atlanta. 9pm, $10 adv., 21+. Tickets at badearl.com
Dec. 20 at the Strand Theatre in Marietta Square. Two shows at 3pm and 8pm, $12 adv., all ages. Tickets at earlsmithstrand.org
Dec. 23 (Ventures only) at Swayze's Venue in Marietta. 6:30, $10, all ages.
Hope to see you there!

Fantastic! Thanks for posting! I'll be at one of them. Most likely the 16th at The EARL.
Looking forward to it!

Hey Chad, I've been waiting to see all the exact dates. I'll make at least one of them. I think it's awesome that you're doing it.

Chad, this is so great. I really wish I could make it out to see this this year. Who knows? I might be able to make the 23rd date. Anyway, have you guys thought about possibly doing some regional dates next Christmas Season?

Sounded great, particularly with the glockenspiel. And nothing says Christmas like a couple of broads wearing fake blonde wigs, white boots, and Santa outfits! Well done.

It was a great show. They nailed the vibe the whole way through. I'll go see it again if I can.

Damm..............humbug. How did I miss this? First Class C-man! Eddie give it all the thumbs in the Surge! up. And believe me, we are ALL thumbs.
Wish I didn't have our annual class reunion drunken brawl on Friday night. Curses...............spoiled again.
Get 'em and stay in touch.

More Ventures joy! Woot! Woot! Really nicely done, Fellas! (thanks for the footage Jamie!!!) Great sound, outfits & show.
Was nice to see Ms. Winter Wonderland rub off a little on Ms. Yeti as things progressed too... way too fun not to smile.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, and to Jamie and Richard for coming out (and the footage). We had an absolute blast and can't wait until next year. Shawn, it is a 92 MIM strat with a pearloid guard, pearly gates plus humbucker, and two vintage noiseless.
