Ya, the rules are posted in the news story. 1 entry only, and you should try to make it something that isn't on an official release (for you "real" band guys). As for covers, we've never really said anything. Obviously this collection isn't for profit. Sometimes we have 3 or 4 Penetrations on each compilation. I did it! uploaded a track. btw, I first discovered this site & the comp before I had a band together. then, the "deadline" for the comp passed before we recorded anything. so I'm kind of excited to have something to offer this time around. thanks for making this happen! —Matt Heaton & the Electric Heaters |

No need for a studio, a decent live recording is fine for this comp. My submission is a one man multitrack demo with fake drums. Thanks guys. We now have 13 entries, all quite good this year! One suggestion. Please write a good description. This is probably going on archive.org, and more than a few times a film or video maker has contacted me wanting to use the music. Some contact info or a link to a web page would be good.
