It is with some sadness that I now announce that the SG101 Yahoo Group
is now closed for general posting. The festivities have moved to the
new site:
Please join us at the new site in the new forums.
The Yahoo Group will remain, and I will use it to post special
announcements in case there are problems with the new site. So check
back here if something catastrophic occurs.
I know a lot of you like the email features of the Yahoo Group. I
can't offer that yet, but I do have RSS feeds available for both the
stories that appear on the main page, and the web based forums. Point
your RSS readers to: (for the main stories) (beta-testing the forums)

The SG101 Yahoo Group was founded on Oct 31, 2001, and it was a lot of
fun. I hope you follow us to the new site. The new site has the
following features:
- Users can submit news, show announcements, show reports, reviews,
etc. These stories can then be ranked and commented on by others.
These stories are then archived on the site.
- Web based forum area to discuss all things related to surf music.
- A database of useful links.
- Surf music FAQ's (in progress).
- Photos of surf bands in action.
- An event calendar to keep track of upcoming shows. Users submit show
dates.
- A downloads area where users can share demos and other files.
