Ad Rates For The Continental #13
We are starting work on Continental Magazine #13, set to feature Southern
Culture On The Skids and The Barbary Coasters, with cover art from Johnny
Bartlett (of Hillsdale Records / Saturn V Featuring Orbit and Phantom Surfers).
Now's the time to reserve ad space and/or sign up to be included on the issues
20+ track compilation CD. Please reserve space in advance (especially if you are
interested in the inside or outside covers). Payment must be received with ad by
the deadline specified below. You may now pay for your ad with your credit card
- e-mail us for details. Ads must be submitted as computer files, preferably
e-mailed as a PC format .jpg or .tif file. Your ad MUST fit the dimensions
specified below:
--Full Page (5.0 inches wide x 8.0 inches tall) $60.00*
--Half Page (5.0 inches wide x 4.0 inches tall) $40.00
--Qtr. Page (2.5 inches wide x 4.0 inches tall OR 5.0 inches wide x 2.0 inches
tall) $30.00
*Outside back cover is $120.00 Inside front and back covers are $90.00.
If you are in a band or run a label that produces surf, instro, garage,
rockabilly or exotic music, you can have your song on the next Continental
Magazine CD for only $60 per song. In exchange you will receive:
--12 copies of the finished magazine with CD (these retail for $5.95, so if you
sell all 10 magazines you will make $71.40).
--1 half page advertisement in the upcoming issue (measuring (5.0 inches wide x
4.0 inches tall)
--1 link to your band or label website from www.dblcrown.com
If you have sent a CD for review in the last 6 months I probably have your CD
and can just take a song from it. If not, then I will need you to send a CD or
CD-R with the track or tracks you'd like to submit. Payment can be sent with
your CD (cash/check/money order), or you can send a Paypal payment for $60 to:
This is only available for songs that are surf, instro, garage, rockabilly or
exotic music. There are probably some songs that are outside these genres that
will be acceptable too. However, I don't want songs that are obviously outside
these genres - no techno, modern/alternative rock, modern country, folk,
classical, etc.

All advertisers in the print version of The Continental will receive a free link
to their web site. If you don't have one, we will write a short description of
your label and list your latest releases on our web site.
If you would like to send music for review in The Continental, please get it to
us by February 28th, 2006.
Advertising deadline for The Continental #13 is March 31st, 2006. It will be out
Spring 2006.
