Nope, wasn't around long enough. <lol> Yeah, probably a few
of them wore out while they were still on the upswing of
popularity, but I'd bet only a few. Remember, what wears down
a fret is the action of pressing a string down behind it,
whereas with a zero nut, that never happens. For that reason,
it's most likely that such frets wore down no faster than a
regular nut.
