Hey Kids, Rick from Rickshaw Records here...
If I may add another CD to the list. Today, the KCR Presents Aztec Beach CD is
going to the duplicator. Aztec Beach is a fundraising CD for the KCR studios at
San Diego State University - where Clint Beachwood's "A Day at the Beach" radio
show originates from. (Tune in tonight 4-6pm PDT, I'll be hosting in Clint's
absence. www.kcrlive.com)
The Aztec Beach CD is a collection of live performances from Southern
California's top Surf/Instro bands, put together like one continuous live bar
gig.
The performances are top-notch, and ALL the proceeds go towards a great cause.
Each band has donated their songs, and the KCR Alumni association and SDSU
alumni association have sponsored the CD, to raise money for badly needed studio
equipment at the station (You should see the studio monitor speaker - the
surround is completely deteriorated!)
The band list is below, 21 tracks total, available for purchase in mid-November,
through the KCR Alumni Association. ()
