Here's how: go find a vise, put the threaded part between two pieces of wood to
protect the threads....then set the arm in the wood so that about 2/3 of the
threads are being held tight in the vise....then tap on the arm where the bend
is with a wood block and hammer....start out lightly at first. Stop and check
the fit in the guitar and keep at it until you get it to the tension that you'd
like.......enjoy! eddie k

but it was not possible for me
as I do not own a vice or something usefull to do this. I also feared
to bend with too much power, as I already broke one trem arm in the
guitar. These things are unbelievably expensive in germany. The trem
arm´s price is 14. Thats astronomic for a bended piece of iron, isn´t
it?
