Pyre, the second release from The Strings Aflame is out!
This material includes 10 tracks, released in a 12" orange and black splattered vinyl with red sprinkles, available on www.otitismediarecords.com.
The cover has been illustrated by Dr. Alderete, capturing the vibes and mood swings from the album: deep and dark sounds at the beginning, ending up in a brighter and light sound.
You can listen to the full vinyl on bandcamp:
Kincaid and The Memetics are excited to announce the release of their first album, “Broken Arrow”.
Lots of reverb swells and new beats. They describe their sound as new wave surf. A wholly instrumental album. It presents a mix of Lo-fi, Low Brow Production with mellow guitars. It is available FREE on Bandcamp.

Our very first music video animated by the amazing Uncle Mummy.
After surfing from the graveyard and onto the scene with their debut effort Beached Wail in October, horror surf rockers Shriek if You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th follow it up with a music video for their single, “Harper’s Bizarre” - shot, directed, and edited by Lucas Ostrowski.
The video depicts several small stories featuring The Devil, dressed as a beauty queen, collecting her souls; in it, she's trying to dance away but duty calls. The video is presented like a shot-on-video horror flick, conjuring up hints of David A. Prior and David 'The Rock' Nelson. It feels like something you’d find hidden away at your local video store.
Feliz Sábado!
Well, the cat's out of the bag and our first ever vinyl album is here and ready for you! We are beyond excited to get this out into the world. We worked on this throughout 2021 sending files back and forth and never once were we in the same room and somehow we pulled it off! I am very grateful to the the cast of characters that made this possible:
Aaron Christopher Furlotte, Kyle Alexander Furlotte, Mario Granados, Chris Zavoras, Matt K. Shrugg and Dave Klein.
Without these folks this would not have come to be.
Now let's take a look at this beauty. It is 180g vinyl, green swirl, 45rpm, looks amazing and sounds killer!! If you are a digital type person please visit our Bandcamp page for download:

Herbert Hooke's new cd "Who'll Be Next In Line" was released last Saturday.
Due to lucky circumstances it was a couple of weeks earlier than expected. First Herbert found in his archive a better version of "Lone Survivor" than that one he had sent to me on a cdr with 30 tracks on January 25th (which he wanted to withdraw), GEMA answered and sent their "go ahead" within a week instead on three or four weeks, Herbert's new recording didn't fit on this cd as we both agreed in a telecon. That's why he stopped working on that track.
So here we go with 20 tracks, 49 minutes and 5 seconds playing. You will hear again the distinctive CRUNCHER sound.
I do like to listen to new cds in darkness with headphones. Listening to this cd I was surprised to discover again what a really excellent track "SURF PARTY" is.
Zvuki Dedov, an independent Lo-Fi Surf Rock artist from Saint Petersburg, Russia, releases his first single Doska (The Board).
The song explores deep emotional breakdown of a simple Russian surf rock fan, unable to get a hold of a real surf board, forced to use an ironing board instead.
Our new EP has come out on CD through Double Crown Records. Please check it out and support the band if you dig it.
Captain Rico and the ghost band are happy to present their latest clip on a serious and deep subject rarely mentioned in surf music: Dracula
We find this title on the new album of the group "Fréquence d'outre tombe" which will be released on March 4th.
Good continuation to all!!!!
New single, "In a Silent Wave" is out now. A collaboration between Matt Heaton from the Electric Heaters (surf) and Josh Slifkin from Canary (electronic), it's a groovy, trippy, chill out extravaganza.
