Midwest Publications Announces New Book On Surf & Beach Music Autographs

Midwest Publications has announced the forthcoming new book by Tom Tourville titled, “Sun, Sand, Surf & Sidewalls- Looking Back At Surf & Summer Music As Seen Through Autographs.”

The book, the first of its type, focuses on classic surf music artists from the early 1960's.

It covers over 190 groups/artists with over 430 autographs noted and displayed, all on 100 pages of surfin’ fun. Included are many rare and never before seen autographs, photos, and surf music memorabilia.

This represents the most complete surf music autograph book ever published. This is Tourville’s twenty third published book. It’s a great guide and collectable for surf music fans and autograph collectors.

The introductions for the book were written by Jerry LeMire of the Hondells “Little Honda” and Kevin Mullay, one of the nations top music autograph authorities/collectors.

Leading music journals and newspapers have had this to say about Tourville, “Tourville is a research wizard.” “He is a premier musicologist”, and “Tourville knows his stuff and has a real passion for music research”. Tom is a well respected music columnist, that has been writing for national and Midwest based publications for over 35 years.

His life long love and interest in the surf and hot rod music scene of the early 60's has driven him to create and publish this new book.

The book is available from Midwest Publications at P.O. Box 404, Spirit Lake, Iowa 51360 for $19.50 post paid in the U.S. It can also be found on Amazon.com.
