Keep up the Great work man,
we love the tunes your picking.
whats with the half hour off start time?
I miss half your show, because Clint Beachwood is on from 4 to 6 Pac time.
Anyway you can move back a half hour?

The El Caminos were one of the first Japanese bands to get our attention
back in the 90's before The surf coasters and others.
They had 2 cds that were released, and then later re-released with SHAG art work, but I have never seen them, so thats a rumor, till Isee it, ha ha.
Del Fi caught wind of them, and put out the cd you wer probably playing. its a compilation of the 2 Jap cds, and a few added songs I think.

I think I'm stuck with this timeslot. My Freshman year the school president, former head of NPR, decided that our station was poorly run (and maybe it was then) and wanted to turn it into an NPR station. The students went bonkers and he backed down to half of our programming being NPR. Ever since then the program manager has had to squeeze more and more DJs into 12 hours per day of programming, the result being a lot of people pissed off and the poor guy losing a lot of sleep and friends. I'm amazed I have the timeslot I have, so I don't think I'm going anywhere

How come all the surf radio shows are one Thursday?
Somebody needs to be a pioneer and broadcast on a night when I don't have band practice. (Yes, it is all about me right now)
A day time show during working hours would be cool, too.
I know there are internet radio stations that go 24-7. But I like the DJ speaking between the song sets and hearing the news from the different areas.
Or podcast the shows so I can listen to them later. Like Chongolio. I like being able to subscribe to the programs and listen at anytime.

This is my last show until the fall semester so I made it a thank you show. I tried to play something from everybody who sent me an album for making this work.
Unfortunately, due to stupid academics I had to wake up at 8 AM to pre-record it, so it's not the most together or exciting show I've done, but I figured I should bump it now since I"ll have a lot of work to do before the show.
And if you don't listen in, and that's OK, thanks a lot if you did in the past. I really felt like I was putting on a show that I liked and that others did too, and a lot of you helped make that happen.
