This Label image
I've just printed it out, and it does fit, but it is way out of focus and washed out.
This label image
Is good and sharp and also fits. I am having a problem getting the side label to print.
It could be the program I'm using though. I'm using Sonic express labeler.

The versions uploaded to imageshack are smaller in size and resolution than the actual file. I'll try uploading them to my photobucket account in fullsize and see if that helps to correct the washout/focus issue.

I also have a word doc with a printable layout if someone wants to try it out (my printer is on the fritz)...send me an email....reverb_10000 (at) hotmail (dot) com.

Awesome Butch. Thanks for all your help with this. Can someone print these out and verify they work okay? I will print them out tomorrow, but would like to know if it was more than just me that got it to work or not.
I still need to make liner notes from the info provided. I'll generate that, then upload the front and back covers to archive.org. Then turn it on. Once they approve it (this took a few days last time), it should be stream-able from their site, and exposed to a much wider audience than here (and also save me some bandwidth).
Perhaps we could get together on TeamSpeak and listen to some tracks together when that all happens?

I just checked, and somehow I missed your song completely - Sorry. I'll listen to it and post some comments.

I'm still trying to figure out how to make the front cover appear on that page instead of the back. But I have to run to my parents house for the day in like 10 minutes. In any event, enjoy and spread the above link around!

I'll play bass for it! It can be like a little "Underground Bay Area superstars" project.

I was hoping you would too, Shawn - Your tune last year was one of my favorites. Next year for sure?!

Brian, I tried downloading the zip files so as to get the songs on my hard drive. For some reason 3 songs didn't make it. Specifically numbers 13,16 and 25. I noticed that these three only had one format of audio file as opposed to all the other songs having several. Is this a result of the format they were submitted in? Just curious.

Whoa. Thank you guys for the offer, really. Gawrsh, I'm already nervous. I've never actually played with anybody before. But can I afford to pass up the opportunity to be a TomorrowRat for a day? Thanks guys. You're the best. Everyone here is the best.

I noticed that some songs did not show up in the player in the upper right either. Hmmm...let me ask around.

'nother problem - The Cavefish song (no1) doesn't let itself get burned onto a cd. I used a converterprogramm to convert to mp3 (though it allready was) but it still didn't work. my guess is the sample or btrate or whatever the magical "44" is is wrong on the song? anyone know the cure?

WoW!
This is some really great stuff! What I have heard sounds fantastic! I have used last years comp too introduce folks to Surf Rock! This is a really great thing! I am going to talk about it on the radio once all fot he bugs are worked out.
Here are the things i found when I downloaded both types!
When I downloaded the MP3 Version I was missing tracks 13 & 16 also Track 4 The Closeouts - HELLA is missing the track label so it was not in the right order.
I also tried the VBR..duh! I had to look it up to see that it mean't variable bit rate! Anyway VBR is missing a lot more tracks!
Missing tracks fro VBR 5,7,8,9,11,13,16,17,18,19,20,22,23 &25
Also track 4 The Closeouts - HELLA is missing the track label so it was not in the right order.
Under FTP
VBR files missing on the following tracks:
2,5,7,8,9,11,13,16,17,18,19,20,22,23,25
These tracks only have one format (MP3):
13,16 & 25
Also last years comp included the cover art when you downloaded it, this years does not. If there is anything I can do to help since I can't play, I would be glad to help. I am thinking that there must be some connection between the missing files in downloads and the file formats.
Thanks

It works like this. I upload 1 set of files, the files I got from you guys. Archive.org then gives me the option to make "derivations". If I say yes, it uses some algorithm I haven't figured out and makes copies of the mp3's in different bit rates/file formats. It looks like it doesn't preserve track information when it does this. It also doesn't seem to make derivations of all the files.
I have posted on their forums, asking why some tracks are missing and not showing up in the player. No answer yet.
