We have our first entry!
How should we do this...make them available as they come in...or maybe in batches...or what until the deadline date?

I liked how they were posted for last year's comp. Maybe two or three at a time. If all go up at once it's going to be a lot to keep track of.

Brian,
my band is working on a cd that should be ready in three months or so. Can I send in a track of that for the comp, or is it supposed to be exclusive material?

WR - This year we are going to accept mp3's that haven't been on anything official....so I'm going to stretch that and say that includes stuff you are already planning to release (see Jake's question earlier).

So, is it Sans-Vocals?
Nothing was mentioned in the official announcement.

An update for those who care:
I've been writing nonstop for the past few days, and I'm coming up with some stuff that I think will be pretty good. I can't wait to get it recorded and submit a song for the comp. I'm really interested in getting some feedback from everyone.

I'm a little torn between submitting an original tune, or submitting a cover tune...
...are cover tunes acceptable submissions?
inquiring minds would like to know,
