That's a good one!

For non-surf stuff I've been enjoying this record a lot lately

The go go’s they ain’t.

Thankfully they aren't! I used to be into the Go-Go's and had their first album back then but lost interest when more interesting stuff started to come around.

I want to like the Pandoras, but it is just not my thing.
Same with the 5678’s. Too Lo Fi fir me.

Hey Summerfun, I can feature the Bangles. When I saw them live in San Francisco, many moons ago, some guy named Prince came out and joined them on a song. He also saved their encore, but that's another story.

Patrick

Patrick,

Prince was a Bangles fan, and wrote "Manic Monday" for them.

A great one from the Maestro that most likely is in my all-time top 25 Morricone tracks...

And speaking of Morricone fuzz tracks in the other thread, here's a big favourite of mine in that category...

The Brian Jonestown Massacre - "Viholliseni Maalla"

Time Slips Away by The Desolate Coast has been in heavy rotation for me this past week.

Patrick

Haiduk - Sea of Fire

LHD's "Off the Grid" is on a continuous roll since I bought it a month ago. Amazing record!

And for non Surf - The Cult's latest "Under the Midnight's Sun" is one of their best ever. A slight return to their roots, every song is a peach, no weak points, perfect production.

Is the Cult album like their Dreamtime album.
