Permalink Monsters from Mars debut 7" OUT NOW!

Hello surf rock fans!

The Monsters from Mars 7" entitled "Surfing Through a Creepy Castle" is out now and available on Tic Tac Totally records.

image

It features two originals -- the spooky and exotic instrumental garage thrasher, Escape from Castle Wolfenstein, and the intense and immense surf monster, Driving The Monkey to the Airport. Also featured on the 7" are two covers -- first, our hit instrumental surf/spy rendition of the Britney Spears hit, Toxic, and second, the Joe Meek's classic, Telstar. We're talking songs to thrill, you chill you, and make you want to surf, swim, and shimmy. Dripping wet reverb, raw farfisa organ, pounding bass, splashing cymbals, and articulate drums.

Telstar and Wolfenstein are remixed from previous CD-R releases. This release boasts the highest production values of any of our releases to date.

The first 300 are on limited edition foamy toxic green/white marble swirl vinyl. So if you order now, you'll be sure to get your hands on one of those.

The record label has been really great to us, so order it from them! You can listen to one of the tracks over at their site too, so even if you don't have a record player, head on over there and atleast have a listen.

We have two older CD-R's that we used to put together, but are now "out of print" so to speak.

You can download the first one which we recorded in like 2001 here:

It's not a very good sample of what we sound like today, but it's got a few good tunes on there.

I'll try to upload our 2nd one soon.
