The vinyl album has 6 tracks not included on the "Best Of" Sundazed release. Also, I got a mono copy while the Sundazed tracks are different stereo mixes. Record was in very nice NM condition and I only payed $21 + shipping. Score!

wow I've seen the other 2 records by them, but have never seen that one. Is it the last of the 3 and very R and B or garagy sounding?

Yes, it's the last of their 3 albums. 7 surf instros and 3 vocals.

I just got the Treble Spankers' "Hasheeda," ...
where did you get it? i urge anyone to pick this up ASAP. Araban is impossible to get, once hasheeda sells out it will probably be gone too. the rights are NOT owned by the TS but by the record company (they should have watched that DD video huh?) who will not reissue it nor give the rights back. at least that's what I understood when I bought one of the very last copies of of Araban.

I randomly searched Amazon for their stuff and someone had put up a used copy. That's too bad about them not controlling the rights to their own material. It also explains why I haven't been able to find "Araban."

It's a now out of print CD (with 4 bonus tracks not on the original 1966 LP). I got it used for like $10 on Amazon.

Over the weekend I picked up the remastered version of the Bomboras' "Savage Island," Robert Drasnin's "Voodoo," the Tiki Tones' "Suburban Savage" and the Verbtones' EP.

Just picked up "Tales of the Rat Fink" by the sadies. All instro, 26 songs with some Don Pyle involvement.
It's very cool!
