Yes, I think it's really good although I used to find this type of early 60s instro rock'n'roll a little bit boring in the long run but I've started to appreciate it more in later years. One have to listen to it in a little different way compared to surf instros. — |

I bought a ton of stuff this past week, but the only surf/instro ones were Seks Bomba's "Operation B.O.M.B.A," the Bob Crewe Generation best-of and Brian Bennett's "Aim High" (TV soundtrack stuff he did in the early 70's). -Warren —That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it. |

I found the Penetrators and Space Cossacks split online the other day. The Cossacks were a very lucky band to have been able to put out 3 45s/7"s as well as their two albums on LP, and then there is the cassette. |

I can't speak for Larry, but I got a used copy from Amazon a few months ago. They had a few others in stock for around $15-$25. I also don't think it's worth paying that much for a copy, but that's just my opinion. -Warren —That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it. |

I bought it from Amazon. Paid top dollar ($20), but being the Huntington Cads freak that I am, and just finding out (as you know Jeff, from that thread in Cowabunga) that there is a Cads song on this CD that I didn't have, I had to have it at any cost. It's a CD I really ought to have anyway, a number of good bands on it...Mai Tai records put out some great stuff back in the day... LarryN Last edited: Sep 17, 2006 18:40:21 |

As did I. And ordered "Profesor Volcanova" today taboot. What a great coupla shows in Portland. I might add that The 'Verb and The Verbtones (who's drum kit really made the rounds this week!) were a fantastic way to round out a great night at Duff's. Much fun was had by us. I'm awaiting the new CDs by both The 'Verb and The Verbtones with anticipation. It's great when there's surf in Portland. Rick —Rick |

I just received "I Should Have Killed You", by Deadbolt, in the mail on Thursday. I haven't had much of a chance to listen to it yet. -Kristena —"Turn the knob to 10 and break it off!" -Baja Marty |

Just got "Old Neck, New Strings" by Davie Allan, and "Guitar Beat" by the Raybeats on vinyl. Very nice additions to the collection! Rev PS: Vote Urban Surf Kings for Best Instrumental CD: http://www.aboriginalpeopleschoice.com —Canadian Surf |
