Permalink FS/FT: Mosrite Ventures Mark I Bicentennial Reissue

New Topic

Howdy all:

I am thinking about downsizing my Mosrite collection and wanted to see if there was any interest here before sending them off to eBay. I have a couple prototypes and a few other rarities, but I thought I'd test the waters with this beauty:

This is basically a '63 Reissue complete with set-neck and binding, but with a top-jack and a Moseley trem. I believe this one comes from the limited (handmade at Semie's kitchen table?) run made in Carson City in 1976 before the return to Bakersfield and The New Mosrite period. I've only ever seen three of these bicentennial set-necks and my guess is that they were straight-to-Japan custom orders. $5500. Will consider partial trade for a Gruggett.

Best, Adam

I wish. Sad

oh my god! that's pretty awesome! Sad

Every word is like an unecessary stain on silence and nothingness.
