I have a 10" Weber California w/aluminum dome in my PRRI and it sounds great with all my pedals.

Cool! I haven’t had a lot of time to play we it’s it yet, but I think they are unnecessarily scaring people saying it shouldn’t be used with even slight distortion. Maybe depends on your expectations

I've used the aluminum-domed 12" for years and never had a problem using any kind of distortion with it. BTW, my Surfy Bear reverb is in an identical toolbox, and has the same blonde cupcake knobs! Good taste!

Is your Weber a California or a Neomag? I had a Weber Neomag in a DRRI. I made a big mistake and sold it. I wish the Neomag was available in 10". The Neomags are a lot lighter than the Californias.

The Surfy Bear kits were great for designing your own reverb unit. There were a lot of creative designs by people back then.

I have both the Neomag and the California with aluminum domes; I prefer the California. Off topic a little, I prefer the Eminence Cannabis Rex to anything else in my Deluxe Reverb.
