Permalink 6K6 updates?

I’ve been convinced to replace the tubes in my ancient blackface Fender Reverb Unit. I searched the forums, and all I came up with was about 14 years old. So much has changed since then…..

Anywho, can anyone give me some advice on a brand and a source of 6K6 tubes these days? Antique Electronic Supply had 2 different 6k6 tubes at a relatively good price, but they don’t mention a brand or anything.

I have an RCA in mine now. Had a Tung Sol in there before that. They are both perfect. I buy mine from ebay quite frankly. Fortunately NOS 6K6' can still be bought cheap. I paid $6.00 for the Tung Sol, and 2 RCA backplate for $12. 6K6's don't really have much to do with the tone, but the RCA does seem to make my reverb a bit brighter.
Also, if you call Antique.. they'll tell you what they have. Great folks to talk to.
