I like the song "A Day in Toyko," nice job! What guitars/amps did you use on this album? —Guitar player for The Driptones, also a Dick Dale tribute artist. |

I am deeply grateful and happy for your thoughtful comments Kevin, Archie, David and SixStringSurfer. Regarding equipment for "Day in Tokyo" the most useful information is the lead guitar used a bridge EMG89 pickup in single coil mode with tone controls off. All other equipment is long discontinued (Steinberger USA GM7A guitar, POD XT live pedal, Beringer V-Verb rack reverb processor direct into Sonar Producer DAW) and had numerous setting details. —The Insanitizers! http://www.insanitizers.com |

Other recordings used spring reverb. I aimed "Day in Tokyo" to have a Shadows-Rautalanka styling, with stacked delays and plate reverb. With its basis in sound transmission through metal, plate reverb shares some characteristics of spring reverb. —The Insanitizers! http://www.insanitizers.com |
