April Birthdays 
Has it really been 20 years? Yes. Are reverb gourmets from Germany and border regions reading along? Come by for a drink, or 10. Might get wild! The fantastic Braindead Dogs from Bielefeld will support us.

20 years of Stronzo Gelantino & The Boo-Men...an April Fool's joke? 20 years - and just one album. One set list that feels like it will always be the same. And concerts a year that you can count on one hand, even if you're missing a few fingers. The whole thing for thousands upon thousands of Eurodollars in rehearsal room rental? Seriously now, Boo-Men? Whether the clearly insufficient output in terms of quantity (i.e. to finally say this: not qualitatively) is due to the fact that the band spends a large part of the time in the rehearsal room playing dice and smoking, simply don’t let themselves be lured out of their reserves for nonsense like fame and money or that they may be just lazy as hell - it doesn't matter. The fully masked people do what they do for one reason: fun. 20 years of circular saw-like, rather unique instrumental music in the 60's sound, 20 years of dullness, 20 years of fun with the music, the thing and themselves. And more of that here and today, preferably with you. By the way, dear circular saw fans: the band actually has new pieces in their luggage especially for the anniversary year. A whole handful. STUMPF! IST! TRUMPF!
They are young, they are beautiful, they are rich. And together in what is still the best surf band in the country. The Cologne/Bielefeld axis has stood firm for so long that it would be worthy of an anniversary celebration on its own, and the Boo-Men are at least as happy as you are that the Dogs are finally back in town again after a long time. World champions in face spastics – they have also successfully defended this title for over 15 years. The nonsense that the band credibly drives on stage doesn't change the fact that not only technically well-made but also authentic surf music is presented here. They are back. GOTT! SEI! DANK!
