Hey-o everybody! I think the time has come to send my Gomez El Sonido to a new home. I love this thing to pieces and I thought I’d hang onto it forever, but it hasn't gotten any love in the past few years so I’d like to offer it up here before putting it up on Reverb or anything.
I believe this is one of a very few if not the ONLY El Sonido that Dario made in the “Tuxedo” cosmetics. Bought in Los Angeles before i moved to Chicago. Loaded with Sylvania 5881s but I think I still have the original Tung-Sol power tubes that came with it laying around. Comes with the tilt back hardware and slip cover.
Asking $1500 obo + shipping. Local pickup also welcome within reason in the Chicago area.
