Is there such a thing?
I was listening to this ukulele song by Jake Shimabukuro and Pure Heart reunion concert. The song is called Bodysurfing, and was written by Herb Ohta aka Ohta-San. Even the drum breakdowns remind me of a groovy Wipe Out.

great stuff, thanks for sharing. No drums, but for 2 acoustic guitars doing surf it's hard to beat the Duo-Tones. RIP Gil

Danny beat me to me tion8 g the Duo Tones, but it bears mentioning twice. Great stuff. I’ve always thought that a couple of Django style Gitanes and a double bass would be a cool idea for a Surf band.

Check out Malibu Manouche by Neil Andersson (formerly of Pearl Django) for some surf-gypsy mashup. Of course, Neil is playing sometb8ng nicer than a couple of Gitanes;)
