We wil keep your name in CAPITOLS on our guestlist at Aloha Fest 5! And I will promise you we will make a BIG statement at our festival. Not that it matters, but maybe we can raise a little bit of money for your country (in the Netherlands it is Giro 555).

Hi everyone. I had to escape to the safer area of Ukraine with my family and gonna stay here with for the nearest days. I am in military reserve cause I’ve got four children and more useful as a digital marketing professional for now. But I am surely thinking of the future steps (I need to feed my family) and started a job search as my business is gone (I was managing local advertising agency, data driven marketing, digital communications, creative and media strategies, programmatic targeted ads, research, etc). If you know somebody from this area in your country, will be really grateful for connections.

Very glad you and your family are safe for now. Pittsburgh has a very large international community with people here from almost every country and region. Pittsburgh is also massively high tech and its IT presence is huge, and they are expanding in all areas in both our very many universities, and the private sector. Hi there. We are ok and safe at least now near Romania borders. Busy with volunteering and information war. A lot of horrible news from the regions where russian attack and kill civilians, including children. That’s not information from the TV news, that’s from my friends and relatives. No mercy anymore. But I think your media gives you this information as well.
We are still considering leaving to EU. That’s not an easy question, but I should take care of my family. I hope the nearest days we will come with solution, but this war seems to be for weeks or even months, cause russia continues entering their military reserves. They clearly want to destroy and exterminate everything here.

Probably a good thing Vitaly has an affinity for languages. I was pondering, with Ukrainians heading to Poland or Romania, what is the common language that ends up being used for conducting 'business' and interacting with aid workers?

Ukrainian and Polish are pretty close, I guess like Italian and Spanish so we understand each other pretty well. Not so easy with Romanian, I’ve been there a couple of times. Surely English is a most common language even here.
