Has anyone tried the Virtual Jeff Pro or Gamechanger Audio Bigsby pedal?
The Virtual Jeff Pro is a whammy arm unit that attaches below the bridge and is connected to a floor unit for tone bending.
The Gamechanger Audio unit is a Bigsby style bar on a pedal box that is foot operated.
Neither is cheap, but might be an option for guitars without a whammy bar. Links below:

I just took delivery of the Virtual Jeff Pro yesterday. I plan on installing it Saturday. Their Black Friday sale was too good to pass up!

Dang - I missed it! Please give us a report when you've installed it and had time to noodle. Thanks!

Any update on how you like the Jeff? I'm super interested but so far I haven't heard many natural sounds coming out of the unit. By natural I mean Bigbyeque type bending.

A friend of mine got one that I had the chance to check out. It doesn't feel like a regular vibrato; there's a notch/detent at "zero" so it's an unfamiliar experience to try and "warble" a note. However, there's a lot of cool things it can do, especially for dramatic effects, like dropping the pitch an octave, etc. Don't think of it as a vibrato arm replacement as much as a pitch pedal replacement.

Today - I received from GAMECHANGER of Riga,Latvia a BIGSBY Pedal - In the hour I spent with it in row last hour, I can remark that it is expertly thought out and not only offered the essential basic sound for my non-whammy guitars and acoustic but also a wealth of whacky unlike any (well we do live in an age of whacky and the H9 is way out there) other.
I also picked up two others from them - via sweetwater) a LIGHT PEDAL - which is a spring reverb from another mother (I also still love my SURFY BEAR and Fenders) but in this case I wanted to check out what else could be done. The third one isn't here yet.
I was inquiring GAMECHANGER about possibly donating one to the SG101 Festival but they told me that they could not give one up at this time and so offered me a 20% discount - It did not take long for it to get here ; less than a week.
I'll try to post pictures but there are a bunch of vids on u-toob demonstrating this company's well thought out designs.
