Having come to the reality that performing live with a short scale neck isn't comfortable for me, I am sadly selling my candy apple red Squier vintage modified Jaguar. This is truly a great sounding guitar as well as an amazing player. There are several modifications that were made to this instrument, listed below.
Stock bridge replaced with a Mustang bridge (barrel saddles.)
New bone nut.
American tremolo system.
New maple neck installed, sourced directly from AllParts.com ($235) Neck features are:
24" scale
22 vintage frets
Maple neck professionally relic'd on the reverse side.
Rosewood fingerboard
7.25" radius
1-5/8" nut width
2-3/16" heel width
0.340" Tuning peg hole diameter
Truss Rod adjustment at heel
Neck thickness .85" at first fret, .95" at twelfth fret
The tuning pegs were also professionally relic'd, giving it a vintage look. The tremolo bar stays up and pops in and out with no problems. All electronics work perfectly and the stock pickups sound great. Especially in the middle position - true surf tone! There is a tiny crack in the paint along the neck pocket (pictured) and some very small scratches on the side of the body (also pictured). Any questions, please let me know.
I will ship it free anywhere in the USA for $700. All attached photos were taken earlier today, Monday, October 4th. Please message me here or write to GellertD@Gmail.com (SG101 compresses all uploaded photos - please let me know if you'd like the original, hi-res shots.)
I will be listing it on Reverb this weekend if there's no interest on SG101.
