Terauchi Takeshi passed away on June 18th. He was 82 years old. He was in hospital in Yokohama City recovering from pneumonia. Unfortunately things took a sudden turn for the worse on the 18th, and he passed away that evening.
RIP Terry. Thanks for the inspiration

I have videos of Terry and Nokie Edwards playing a concert together. Hope they hook up again in the afterlife.
I liked Terry's playing; I liked his Mosrite guitars. He had interesting takes on a lot of tunes. And his style was instantly recognizable - as much as Nokie's and Gerry McGee's.
RIP, Terry

R.I.P. Takeshi! - I came across his music not too long ago - I think it was in March - because of a thread on OSG. Instant inspiration. Absolutely love his style! Received the vinyl and CD about a month ago and put it on almost every other day - one of my favorite CDs to drive a car to.

R.I.P. I believe music lovers take their music with them when they leave this earth. Those that create take something special with them.

Sad news. I have enjoyed very much all his music. Great aggressive playing, tone and performance. Great talent, great artist. He will be missed.
