Would anybody have any thoughts on the future of original surf 45/lp from the 1960s on price levels ?
Some say bad investment , I think , such low production numbers price will go not down.
I am a collector and love the surf sound.
Chris

I don't think they're going to get better, they're only going to get more rare, but that said there's PLENTY of affordable surf 45s out there (especially if they're not exactly Surf but are just instrumentals from that period).

I guess there are some sectors of record collecting that have taken huge dives in price, like doo-wop, but I just don't see surf taking that same hit.
