Brisbane (Australia) band, The Riptides. Surf?... well, maybe it was "our surf" band but whatever you call it, they were great! You be the judge.

If you see "Riptides" and "Sunset Strip" anywhere, it's the Riptides classic!

I saw them at a huge reformation gig celebrating Brisbane music (mainly punk-ish) - http://qmf.org.au/02_cal/details.asp?ID=18 - and I was pleased to see Cal playing a Jaguar. The original Saints headed the bill!
