Permalink A song that makes up fight over who gets to play the bass: Fugitive (Ventures Cover)

The Ventures FUGITIVE is a song my daughter and I have to FIGHT and see who gets to play the bass for the song. When we first got the bass (a gift), this young surf guitarist was skeptical as she had been playing lead guitar mostly and didn't want to try playing the bass, until she heard Fugitive for the first time. It's definitely a lot of fun playing this tune. But I must say, it is not easy to play the bass well. Hope you like our Fugitive cover.

If you are interested, Mina has prepared a non-stop fever playlist. Perhaps you want to give it a try too.

Our Japanese themed month of surf rock continues and I hope we get to finish all the songs we have planned to do before the end of April. Cheers!

Great! And indeed a very catchy bass line.

Keep 'm coming.

Thank you! The bass is cool but not an easy instrument to master. Will try harder. But it sure was fun!!!!
