Now Sundazed is releasing an LP of the album.

Thanks for letting us know, Jeff. With a bit of luck they got their hands on the masters... —

If they did find A master (not necessarily THE master), they didn't find all of them. I provided needle drops for at least two of the bonus tracks taken from 45s.

Vinyl and CD releases on June 12:

Cool! I picked up the Oldays Records re-issue last year, and it's quickly become one of my favourites. But I'll probably also buy the Sundazed CD on the basis that it'll be properly licensed.

The page for the CD shows track 19 as "The Jester (Alternative Version", and there's an audio clip that starts with a high-pitched voice saying "The jester!". Does any know if this is the "thimble" version, or have they turned up another alternate take?

Curious what's it gonna be. Anyways, I am pretty sure they will treat it with lots of love —

Did anyone pick up the Sundazed CD reissue? It was a Record Store Day release, so impossible to find here.

Ivan got the LP version

Cool! According to Discogs, the "alternative version" of The Jester may not have actually made it onto the final release. But the clip on the Sundazed website sounds like it would have been the same version that was already available on the Lost Legends of Surf Guitar compilation anyway, so no great loss.
