Hello all, I've taken the liberty of posting my surf/instrumental style videos here. Hopefully you might hear something you enjoy.

The main reason I make the vids is that a lot of people I know only listen to music via Youtube these days. I use a variety of free online editing facilities to do this. I'm no film maker.

I like that Fireball song, but the video is a little distracting. It gave me a headache. Never the less, cool song and great sound!

Guitar player for The Driptones, also a Dick Dale tribute artist.

Hi Jet
Great versions. I nearly fell off my chair when I heard the Jerry Jones Sitar at the beginning of the Persuaders. Fantastic. Looking forward to hearing more! Fireball XL5 is superb. Can't wait to hear your version of Captain Scarlet Wink

Thank you for the kind words.

Ah, cheers for that. No plans to tackle Captain Scarlet, but may one day take a run at Joe90.

Cool

There are many versions of this out there, and now here's mine.

Cool version and nice production. Great ending as well Laughing

Been a while since I uploaded a cover version for my TV21 project
Here's a medley of the themes from Scooby Doo and The Munsters (with a little bit of Pretty Vacant thrown in).

Featuring (as ever) my Squier VM Jaguar, Revelation BassVI, Danelectro U2, Squier Bronco Bass and Carlsboro CD130 electric drum kit.

Scooby Doo Where Are You? composed by Danny Jannsen & Austin Roberts

Munsters Theme composed by Jack Marshall.

Nice.

Here's another surf-ish run at a TV theme tune.

I'm not sure if Black Beauty was broadcast outside of Europe, so Sateside listeners might not be familiar with the tune.

A few more videos from my TV21 project.

I've done ten tracks now, I think that's it for the TV theme cover versions.

Hello all. I've posted a couple of original tunes on my Youtube channel.
They're rough-ish demos, but hopefully still listenable.

Hey Jet,
I dig your originals! I saw your instrument listing on one of your previous posts but was wondering what your reverb/effects pedal setup was for the originals. Thanks!

Patrick

Nice! But I avoided this topic thinking its another porn scum, so please better be more informative with topic names)))

Yikes, that never occurred to me. Unfortunately I can't change the topic name, just keeping my fingers crossed it hasn't put anyone else off.

On these two demos, all of the guitar processing & effects are via my POD2 (the classic kidney-bean shaped one from the early 2000's).

I use the "black panel" setting, turn the reverb up all of the way, bung on loads of compression and that's pretty much it.

THe guitars are my Gretsch Streamliner on lead, Squier VM Mustang on rhythm. The bass is my Fender MIM Jazz and the drums are my Carlsboro CD130.
