Second on the Swamp thang. Whatever speaker you get, assuming you're in the mood for headroom, do not overlook getting one with a substantial wattage rating well above the amp's rating.

I can also recommend the Swamp Thang ...I have them in a 2x12 cab and in a twin . Nice firm low mids and bass ..beautiful cleans ,full and rich . I have used a high gain Marshall head into my cab and the Swamp Thangs sound great for distorto heavy rock too ..the firm bottom accurately reproduce power chords with out farting out
