Permalink another Surfy Bear question

Out of interest has anyone tried using the Surfy Bear Classic in a bypass loop?

Any jump up or drop down in volume?

I used a loop pedal with my kit build on my pedal board.
I paired a boost pedal after the reverb in that loop with to bring the volume back up as you lose a touch of volume when the reverb is engaged.

It worked well, could bypass the reverb easily and my volume could be consistent when reverb was engaged or bypassed.

In the lower right is a loop pedal, which goes up to my SB build in a pedal box (tank under my pedal board) followed by the Boosta Grande returning to the loop pedal.

I have since moved to a SB Compact, which is perfect for me.

I actually still have a DIY kit that hasn’t been assembled yet.
They’re hard to come by these days.

Sorry for the multiple replies!

Many thanks for the input. I think more likely than not i'm gonna go for the metal. Smile
