I assume they're 2 wire. I haven't opened it up.

I actually reversed course and just inquired about some not cheap pickups:

Gemini pickups humbucker sized Teisco gold foil in the neck, Humbucker sized Supro lap steel pickup in the bridge.

If I don't love them, they'll go in my partner's bullet mustang for more twang.

I also have a set of squier jaguar pickups, and some american jazzmaster pickups.
