I went ahead and made a dedicated pedal board for surf rock. I really like it. I use the SurfyTrem to get that classic Link Wray warble and the SurfyVibe is a really cool way to add a little variety to the sound and still be surfy.I love the carbon copy for getting an echo similar to what I hear in the Nebulas recordings. I have my guitar go directly into my reverb tank and then into the board. It sounds really cool. Do you guys use effects (other than reverb)?

Yes! Looks very nice and tidy. That power supply is huge! I’m curious about the looper pedal?
I am finishing up / experimenting with one. I split my guitar and only one side goes to reverb. Reverb is actually in between vibe and trem pedals. I’ll post pics if I ever finish it!

I don't use the spring reverb on the Oceans 11 much.
Tend to use the delay pedals, with the amp's spring reverb, for surf.
Like the EHX for it's Shimmer, mostly.
The TC Shaker is great for subtle vibrato and the Sub N Up for 12 string.

I really like that looper! I like the two buttons and it makes a nice clean loop. It also has I think 9 channels. Some of the extra features, like reverse loop, are kinda useless.

Mine is pretty simple, only four pedals in the chain plus the tank. The looper and controller are only used for prerecorded samples, mostly as interludes between songs. The EP boost is for the most part an always on pedal, except for one or two numbers where it’s used as an actual dynamic boost. I love the Aqua Puss delay since it sounds great and plays well with a tank (in my opinion). The newest acquisition is a Mr. Black Mini Tremolo, which I’ve been extremely happy so far! It does bias and harmonic tremolo sounds quite well and it doesn’t break the bank.
