Looking to thicken up the bridge pickup tone in my '62 AVRI Jazzmaster without sacrificing the chime and sparkle of the middle position. Thinking of dropping a set of Novak Wide Range Humbuckers for Jazzmaster in it. From the one Youtube clip I found, I like what I hear. They sound warm and full and still Fender-y.

Anybody else tried them? Thoughts?

Just recently got the new Fender Wide Range Humbuckers and installed them on a Squier VM Jazzmaster. I have never played WRHBs before, because I just thought they where more like regular PAFs. I was misinformed...I think they are really good and versatile, and nothing like PAFs at all. I am sure I will ble playing Wide Range HBs a lot from now on.
I don't know how they compare to the Novak WRHBs, though I hope someone will try both and let us all know.
