Anyone see this yet? I wonder how it compares to the Fender and Mastery options?

I had not seen this before - it's an interesting design. My one thought is that will affect the sound of the guitar a bit because it shortens the string lengths behind the bridge by a notable amount. This will likely make the harmonics/ghost tones higher, changing the character somewhat. Whether you will really notice or if it improves/degrades the sound is another matter.

Hard to tell from the picture in the link, but the break angle over the bridge looks shallower than the stock setup. I'm guessing that's not a good thing.

If I'd stop buying old guitars to fix, I might actually learn to play.
Bringing instruments back to life since 2013.

I'd not seen that one before. Reminds me of Hagstrom's vintage vibrato design, which reminded me of an upside down Jazzmaster vibrato, figures. I wonder if it has a wider range of motion. This iteration looks clunky, and i agree with idk about the break angle, probably not the best design. Only one way to tell.

Is the point of this to make the string break angle over the bridge even worse??!! Or maybe it is to emulate the nasty vibratos from 1970s Japanese guitars?

I don't get it.
