I'm in.

If I'd stop buying old guitars to fix, I might actually learn to play.
Bringing instruments back to life since 2013.

Yeah, think we could be in forbthat.

I love these comps. This year I'd like to try to make a track.

Ooooooohhhh yessss.

I love the originals that are on these comps. I skip the “classic surf covers” since I’ve already heard them a million times.

Daniel Deathtide

I'd love an excuse to fire up the recording gear....

Cheers,
Jeff

I have a tune that might be ok as a contribution. It's been on my
computer unfinished since March. This gives me an incentive to finish it.

Count me in.

Put me down for one

I have a couple I need to work on, so dependent on the deadline, I'm in too.

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

How about a tribute to The King

We could cover all of Dick Dales catalog

I was thinking of maybe doing a medley of like three songs myself or come up with a original based on his sound and techniques etc.

Why restrict those of us who want to submit original songs by doing something ten other people have done?

Daniel Deathtide

Look forward to the compilation every year.. 's been too long since I've dropped in sumfin'... but ever-hopeful Smile

I could be wrong (hell, I'm often wrong) but I seem to remember that Brian is very shy about copyright hassles and prefers to hold the compilations at some distance from conflicts involving lawyers. That said, someone may have an in with Dick's family and can obtain some sort of blanket blessing. Brian may still be hesitant to use SG101 as a vehicle in any case, but that would at least raise the possibility of an independent compilation. RTFM RTFM RTFM

Cool

Hell yes. More Comp = more better. This'll be the first time in a couple of years I'm in a position to submit something.

Ok I'll just make up a song then, I did come up with a idea for a original. Cool

I did go back all the way to 2005, looks like Penetration got covered the most on here. Might as well make something new then.
